Only go as far as you can. You should to feel comfortable but at the same time slightly challenged. Repeat stretches twice if you just finished working out, otherwise if it is your full workout, then repeat as many times as you feel like you can and if time allows. Enjoy it and use this time to cool down and relax. If you are just starting out, bend your knees slightly where mine are straight, to allow for more space in your back. Only go as far as your own limits and stretch slightly further with each deep and conscious breath.
